Washington, DC- On Saturday, February 23rd, hip hop recording artist RAtheMC returned to her hometown of Washington, DC to debut the spring collection of her new apparel line R.T.M (Run This Mother!) at The Washington Post Conference Center. The always fashion forward rapper utilized her own personal fashion style and hip hop’s subculture influence for creating the line. The line was well received during its presentation with reality TV star Reza (Shahs of Sunset; Bravo,) recording artist Amber Mimz, House Studio DC, The Griffin’s (Washington’s other First Family; Robert Griffin III “RG3”) and other local socialites and tastemakers in attendance. RAtheMC (along with her Hypeman) took to the stage to perform some fan favorites from her acclaimed project, The Grace Jones Experiment. RAtheMC will release her first project since appearing on the #1 reality TV series The X-Factor, later this spring.
